At UC, students are encouraged to intern with companies before graduation to learn the skills necessary for success before entering the workforce. GIS gives unparalleled access to the industry with professional speakers every week, IRM/Actuarial-specific career fairs, and opportunities for industry conferences.

Career Fair
UC boasts both a Fall and Spring career for ample opportunities to be hired as an intern or as a job for after graduation. In addition to these, GIS hosts two more career fairs focused around IRM/Actuarial positions.
Industry Conferences
Go on trips with fellow members to industry events like the GIS International Conference. These events foster a deeper understanding of the IRM/Actuarial environment and provide ample networking opportunities.
